Logros, expectativas y limitaciones. Una análisis del Plantel Temoaya de la UIEM

This paper analyzes the achievements, expectations, and limitations of the Temoaya Campus of the Intercultural University of the State of Mexico (UIEM), an educational institution opened in August 2024 with the following objectives: to train intellectuals committed to the development of their regions; to guarantee access to higher education with cultural and epistemic relevance; and to revalue and revitalize knowledge of the Otomí culture and language. From the perspectives of teachers and some students, the present and future of this campus are analyzed in relation to its objectives. To this end, interviews with students, working groups and discussions with teachers, newspaper articles, and data obtained from a survey of the first generation of students are used.
