Abstract

The article is derived from the research work entitled “Collegial work and pedagogical practices of teachers, in the context of recent educational reforms”, which arises from the following question: What are the tensions that are generated between the institutional pedagogical discourse of the teachers of the Official Preparatory Schools of the State of Mexico and the official pedagogical discourse that is present in official documents, in relation to collegial work and pedagogical practices? The interest arises from the approach to a practice of holding weekly collegiate meetings in the official preparatory schools of the southern region of the State of Mexico, derived from an instruction from the school supervisor but which takes on new twists from the issuance of the guidelines for its operation, published in the official newspaper Gaceta de Gobierno del Estado de México (GEM, 2016).
