Acoso escolar y poder: una mirada desde la postura de Hannah Arendt y Dan Olweus
Bullying and Power: A Perspective from the Thought of Hannah Arendt
Keywords:
bullying, poder, violenciaAbstract
This essay aims to explain the phenomenon of bullying as seen through the dynamics between those involved, under the premise that it is not merely a form of school violence, but rather a power game that implicitly involves various intentions of domination, power, and control. As a methodological foundation, the theories of Hannah Arendt and Norwegian Dan Olweus are employed, allowing for an understanding based on different methodological and theoretical categories proposed by these two authors. The essay seeks to identify the main mechanisms of control, dehumanization, loss of voice, and the banality of evil, revealing the complexity of bullying and presenting it as a form of totalitarianism within the school walls.
