Abstract

The essay aims to reflect on the influence of sexist family education on the construction of the gender identity of women and men, as well as its representations that reproduce the traditional exercise of motherhood and paternity. In the context of demodernization, sexist education can be questioned and transformed by women and men who are aware of their generic condition and the sociocultural mandates that constrain them and by the crisis of institutions, one of them being the traditional, nuclear and heterosexual family.
